Starting from Friday, November 29th, my tour is active 7 days a week, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
It is very important to know that there is no difference in terms of lights and decorations between weekdays and holidays: the houses are always decorated during the Christmas season. For those on the tour with the Minivan, you will have access to the public restroom located directly under the Manhattan Bridge. As our Minivan does not have onboard restroom facilities, the public restroom in DUMBO provides a convenient option. Meanwhile, those joining the tour with the Coach Bus or Minibus, though they have access to an onboard restroom, can also choose to use the public restroom in DUMBO if they prefer.

From DUMBO to Times Square: return trip from Brooklyn to Midtown Manhattan
After completing our visit to the picturesque DUMBO, it’s time to reboard our bus and return to Midtown Manhattan. My 2024 NYC Holiday Lights Tour is indeed a round trip by bus, starting and ending in the Times Square area in Midtown Manhattan. The bus journey from DUMBO to Times Square is relatively brief, typically taking about 25 minutes, but it’s a truly scenic trip.
The route between DUMBO and Midtown Manhattan takes us across the Manhattan Bridge. As we traverse the East River, you’ll have an excellent view of the Brooklyn Bridge, the One World Trade Center, the Empire State Building, and many other iconic NYC landmarks.
The drop-off point at the end of the tour is on 42nd Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, directly in front of the Bryant Park Christmas markets. This provides a perfect opportunity, should you wish, to explore the markets after the tour or to indulge in something delicious from one of the many culinary stands. 5th Avenue, with its dazzling lights, and Rockefeller Center are less than a 10-minute walk away, while Times Square is just a block away, less than 5 minutes on foot from our tour’s drop-off point.
