Holiday Spirit TourA Few Things to Know Before Your Tour
We want your experience to feel easy from the moment you book. These practical tips will help you choose your date, arrive prepared and plan the rest of your day with confidence.
Book Early With Free Cancellation
Christmas departures often sell out well in advance. Once you know your dates, we recommend reserving your preferred tour and departure time. You can cancel free of charge up to five days before your tour, so booking early protects your plans without removing your flexibility.
Meeting Point and Arrival
Public Christmas tours begin at our central Times Square meeting point. The exact address and check-in instructions are included in your booking confirmation. Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before departure so you have time to find the team and check in comfortably.
Hotel Pickup and Private Tours
Hotel pickup is not included with our scheduled public tours. For a fully private experience with personalized arrangements, reach out to us at info@discovernyc.tours and we will be happy to discuss the available options.
Dress for New York Winter Weather
Tours operate in rain, snow or sunshine and include time outside at several stops. Wear warm layers, gloves and comfortable weather-resistant walking shoes, and bring an umbrella when needed.
Walking and Accessibility
Every experience combines transportation with guided walking stops. Guests should be comfortable walking short distances and navigating busy or occasionally uneven sidewalks. Dyker Heights includes approximately one hour of walking.
Tour-specific inclusions, finishing points, age conditions and venue requirements are explained on each individual tour page and in the booking confirmation.
